KOZHIKODE: The Muslim Employees Cultural Association has asked the government to enact a law to end the uncertainty in the self-financing professional education sector in the State for three years. A meeting of the State panel here on Monday alleged that the government failed to abide by court directives in the matter. The meeting also alleged that the situation in the State was being exploited by the self financing educational lobby in neighbouring States. Also, a few self-financing medical and engineering colleges were commercialising the professional education sector. This would deny professional education to students from the backward sections who would not be able to pay the hefty fees .
