CM’s visit on August 9
MACHILIPATNAM: Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, whose scheduled visit to Krishna district on Wednesday was postponed on account of bad weather, will now visit on Saturday.
Official sources said he will arrive at 10.15 a.m. on Saturday in Tummalapalem village in Ibrahimpatnam mandal, and reach Ibrahimpatnam circle to unveil a statue of deceased Congress MLA Chanumolu Venkata Rao. He will later address a public meeting at Ferry centre.
Dr. Reddy will arrive in Vijayawada by 11.45 a.m. and call on the family members of Dr. Venkata Rao at their house.
The Chief Minister will later inaugurate the mega health camp of Rajiv Arogyasri and interact with the beneficiaries. He will leave for Hyderabad at 2.30 p.m.
