Fogging operations intensified in city

The anti-larval teams would be visiting each and every household once a week

HYDERABAD: The GHMC has informed that 666 teams were working in the 18 circles for carrying out anti-larval operations to tackle the mosquito menace.

An assistant entomologist was supervising the activities at each circle level.

Chief Entomologist D. Narahari has claimed that the civic body was taking all measures for effective prevention and control of diseases.

Diseases under control

Malaria and dengue were under control with no alarming situation prevailing.

Fogging operations too were being carried out at different places.

The anti-larval teams would be visiting each and every household once a week to check for potential breeding sources to be treated with appropriate larvicide.
