Free bus passes

CHENNAI: Students of government schools, colleges and polytechnics who are yet to get free bus passes of the Metropolitan Transport Corporation so far can get them till September.

A release said counters had been opened in the Adyar, T.Nagar, Anna Nagar and Tondiarpet -1 depots for the convenience of those students, who did not avail themselves of the previous opportunity or have joined the institutions only recently. The counters would function between 1 p.m. and 5.45 p.m. on all working days till September. If the number of students from an institution seeking passes was more than 10, officials would come to the school for taking photographs and issue passes.
