Karunakaran wants NCP to join UDF

Thiruvananthapuram: Amid reports of State unit of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) headed by K. Muraleedharan trying to gain entry into the Congress-led UDF, his father and senior Congress leader K. Karunakaran on Tuesday said it was his wish that the NCP should join Congress camp to take on the CPI(M)-led LDF. Mr. Karunakaran told reporters that NCP’s entry would strengthen the UDF and the Congress. – PTI
