Wrestler shot at; seriously injured

NEW DELHI: A 26-year-old wrestler-realtor was shot at and grievously injured at Pitampura here late on Monday night. The incident took place inside an akhara at Shakoor Basti when Sunil Dahiya reportedly fell out with an acquaintance and was shot in the stomach around midnight. Sunil, a native of neighbouring Sonepat, had been staying in the akhara for the past several years. His fellow wrestlers informed the police who took him to Ambedkar Hospital in Rohini. His condition is said to be serious.
