Crop insurance

Kakinada: The Agriculture Department has called upon farmers to avail themselves of the crop insurance scheme by paying the premiums before August 16 through banks.

“Those who don’t have a bank account have to open SB accounts in any nationalised bank and remit the premiums before the said date,” Joint Director of Agriculture T. Nandaiah said in a press release here on Wednesday.
