College teachers seek revised HRA

HYDERABAD: The Federation of AP College Teachers’ Association has denounced the government’s ‘negative’ attitude in not extending the benefit of revised HRA from 15 to 30 per cent to lecturers working in the areas of GHMC. G. Mallikarjun Rao, chairman, and G.Venkat Reddy, secretary-general, in a press release, they said the government had revised the HRA of its employees working in the GHMC area on January 17, except lecturers drawing UGC scales. –Special Correspondent
