COIMBATORE: CNBC-TV18 along with Intel and Dell will organise an interactive panel discussion on the ‘SME Scalability, Mobility, Efficiency’ Forum in Coimbatore on August 8. The Hindu Businessline is the media partner. ChallengesAccording to a release, the objective of the programme is to educate SME clusters from the textile sector on the need to be IT-enabled. The SMEs were faced with challenges such as the lack of information, finance, man power and knowledge of markets. ForumsThrough forums such as the ‘SME Scalability, Mobility, Efficiency,’ the SMEs could educate themselves and improve their understanding of the business market. ExpertsThe panel of experts in the forum would include Krishna Samaraj, Co-Chairman, Micro Small and Medium Enterprise Forum, CII – Southern Region, P.Krishnakumar, Director – Marketing, Dell India, R.Elango, Director, Marketing, Sangeeth, and Ravichandran, Director, Sales, Intel South Asia. The panellists would share their thoughts on how SME sectors could invest in IT at a minimal level and slowly upgrade to be able to manage the operations and strategies better. The forum would be moderated by Priyal Guliani of CNBCS TV18.
