Symposium on nano engineering

VISAKHAPATNAM: A two-day national symposium on “MEMS, NEMS and NANO Engineering” is being organised by GMR Institute of Technology, Rajam, in association with the Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi, on Friday and Saturday.

The science and applications of nano technology are developing at a rapid pace all over the world.

The current market in nano technology is spread over a wide range of fields including mechanical, electronics, opto-electronics, biomedical, pharmaceutical, energy and cosmetic applications, according to principal in charge of the college CLVRSV Prasad.

Eminent personalities from academia, research and industry would share their research experiences at the symposium.

Director of National Institute of Technology, Warangal, Y.V. Rao would be the chief guest at the inaugural function.
