KANNUR: A district leadership training camp of the Private College Teachers’ Association (PSTA) will be held at the Anjarakandy Higher Secondary School here on August 9 and 10. PSTA district president C.V. Dinesh Babu and secretary I. Haridasan said here on Thursday that the camp would discuss the ‘contemporary crisis in the general education sector.’ The PSTA office-bearers said that over the last 10 years, a total of 9.25 lakh students had left the aided and government schools to join the unaided schools in the State. Revised curriculumChanges in curriculum and textbooks had deepened the crisis, they said. The teachers’ camp would be inaugurated by Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) general secretary M.K.
