TIRUPATI: Physically-challenged students belonging to the various TTD-run educational institutions held a dharna today in front of the TTD administrative building urging the management to provide them free food in the college hostels.

Sapthagiri Prasad, state leader of the Telugu Nadu Students Federation (TNSF), owing allegiance to the TDP, who led the agitation regretted that a paltry monthly scholarship of Rs. 1,250 being paid to the affected persons was barely enough with the mess bill itself going beyond Rs. 500.

He called upon the TTD management to be kind enough to provide free food to the physically-challenged students of its institutions.
