Awareness on narcotics

KOZHIKODE: The Kerala Madya Nirodhana Samithi has asked the government to expand the Vellamada struggle as a lesson against narcotic substances. A meeting of the panel held at the Gandhi Griham here wanted the authorities concerned to elaborate the Vellamada episode in the controversial Class VII textbook as part of an awareness against alcohol as such. —Staff Reporter
