19 head of cattle die

SIRSI: As many as 19 head of cattle have died of mysterious disease at Mandagalale village in Manmane Gram Panchayat area in Siddapur taluk. As many as 12 cows, four oxen, a calf and a buffalo have died since a week.
While returning from the forest after grazing, the cattle seem to be “too much tired” and then die. Taluk veterinary doctors, who visited the village, have collected blood samples.
They have sent the blood samples to Belgaum for investigation. Cattle owners are in distress. They have requested the authorities concerned to take immediate action in the matter.
