Maoists blow up block office in Jharkhand

Garwah: Maoists blew up the block office building at Dandai in Jharkhand’s Garwah district, the police said on Thursday.

A group of Maoist cadre assembled near the vacated building on Wednesday night and blasted it with explosives, damaging it.

However, the extent of damage has not yet been known as the office is situated in a remote area.
