Three feared drowned

Sambalpur: Three persons were feared drowned when a boat capsized in the river Horrozore near Sambalpur on Thursday, according to the police. The boat carrying 14 persons was on way from Hutama Ghat to Sankarma Ghat when it sank in the river, about 10 km from here.

While 11 persons were rescued by locals, three were still missing. The missing persons were Sadanand Badhei, Ranjit Sahu and Kamal Bhoi, the police said.

Fire brigade personnel and divers were trying to trace the missing persons, they said. -PTI
