Valuables stolen

OMALUR: A few unidentified persons had stolen mobile phones and valuables worth Rs. 30,000 from a shop in Omalur here on Tuesday night.

The police said workers of the shop, owned by Palanisamy of Karuppur, found the locks of the shutters broke open and 160 mobile phones and speakers missing.

The Omalur police registered a case.
