BHUBANESWAR: The first gram sabha held at Bhrungarajposi village of Keonjhar district has concluded with signing of a resolution by the residents in support of the proposed steel project of ArcelorMittal India. Hundreds of residents gathered to attend the gram sabha that was conducted by the district administration, the company said in a statement on Thursday. The villagers expressed their willingness to move ahead with the process while bringing to the forefront some concerns and the need for more information. While the gram sabha was undisrupted and peaceful, some protests against the project were held in the vicinity. In the second gram sabha conducted at Raikala villages, the residents raised several questions.
