Corporation Bank gets RBI shield

MANGALORE: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has conferred the Rajbhasha Shield on Corporation Bank for its achievement in official language (OL) implementation. Corporation Bank’s Hindi house journal, “Mangala”, bagged the second prize in the inter-bank Hindi house journal contest, a press release from the Mangalore-based bank said here on Wednesday.

Chairman and Managing Director of the bank B. Sambamurthy received the award from Reserve Bank of India Governor Y.V. Reddy recently, the release said. — Staff Correspondent
