MADURAI: A half century by Saravana Selvan helped host K.R. College defeat Mano College, Puliangudi, by 95 runs in the MS University inter-collegiate cricket tournament at Kovilpatti on Thursday.

KR College 204 for eight in 25 overs (Saravana Selvan 51) bt Mano College, Puliangudi 109 in 24 overs.
SPK College, Alwarkurichi, 153 for nine in 25 overs bt Mano College, Nagampatti 91 in 21.2 overs (Manikanda Boopathy three for 28).
Bishop Caldwell College, Tuticorin, 94 in 24.1 overs lost to Arulmigu PPA College, Nanguneri, 95 for eight in 22.5 overs.
Aditanar College, Tiruchendur 190 in 22 overs bt Mano College, Cheranmahadevi, 89 in 21 overs.
Malankara Catholic College 126 in 24 overs lost to Kamaraj College, Tuticorin 130 for four in 22 overs (Kalai 57).
