Scientist gets international fellowship

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Prof. Ashok Pandey, Head of the Biotechnology Division at the National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology here, has been awarded a fellowship by the International Organization for Biotechnology and Bioengineering (IOBB).
This was announced at the global meet of the organisation at Perth, Australia last month where Prof. Pandey delivered the keynote address at the opening session. Prof. Pandey’s talk was on ‘Bio-ethanol from lingo-cellulosic biomass: Indian scenario and perspectives.’
