Teenager held for killing friend

NEW DELHI: A teenager has been arrested for allegedly killing a friend of his at Welcome Colony in East Delhi in July.

Twenty-one-year-old Mohammed Javed of Kabootar Market was shot dead in Subhas Park in the early hours of July 16. During investigation, the police zeroed on his 19-year-old friend Shadaab and interrogated him at length. Shadaab purportedly told the police that his girlfriend had struck up a friendship with Javed and he killed him out of jealousy.
