One-day token strike by DU teachers

NEW DELHI: On a call by the Federation of Central Universities Teachers’ Associations, Delhi University faculty members along with teachers of 22 other Central Universities observed a one-day token strike on Thursday demanding early submission of the report of the Pay Review Committee of the University Grants Commission.

The Federation has been pressing for better service and working conditions for teachers to retain talent in the field.
