Hoax call in school
NEW DELHI: Police received a call on Thursday morning about an unclaimed bag kept on a scooter outside Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya at Mahipalpur. On checking, the bag was found to contain school textbooks. Earlier, anti-sabotage checks and a security drill were carried out at Modern School in Vasant Vihar on Wednesday after a hoax call. The call was later traced to a PCO in South Delhi. “Sniffer dogs were called into the classrooms yesterday. The school prefects were asked to check the rooms, cupboards and toilets. No announcement was made so we don’t know if it was a hoax call or a part of some drill. We were not told anything,” said a student on Thursday.
