Appeal to remove J&K Governor

NEW DELHI: The All-India Sanatan Dharam Pratinidhi Sammelan has appealed to the Centre to remove Jammu and Kashmir Governor for his failure to control unrest in the State. Sammelan general secretary R.N. Vats cautioned that if the religious sentiments of the Sanatanis were not protected, then the situation in the State might take an ugly turn. The Sammelan had also unanimously passed a resolution supporting a five-point plan of action suggested by former Union Minister Karan Singh.
