Rangasamy rushes to Delhi

NEW DELHI: Even as five Puducherry Ministers continued to boycott Cabinet meetings, Chief Minister N. Rangasamy arrived here on Thursday night, following a call from Vayalar Ravi, Congress coordinator for the region.

V. Vaithilingam, E. Valsaraj, M.O.H.F. Shahjahan, Malladi Krishna Rao and M. Kandasamy boycotted the Cabinet meetings on August 2 and 6 as the Chief Minister refused to accept their conditions for attending.

It is learnt that the Ministers, who were here last month along with five Congress MLAs, met AICC president Sonia Gandhi and reiterated their demand for the removal of Mr. Rangasamy.
