Naidu thanks Tiwari for taking up fertilizer issue

HYDERABAD: TDP president, N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday appreciated Governor N. D. Tiwari’s gesture in taking up the issue of shortage of fertilizer in the State with Union Minister for Fertilizers Ram Vilas Paswan.
In a statement, Mr. Naidu said the Governor appeared concerned after seeing the video-clippings on the shortage submitted by a TDP delegation led by leader of the Opposition in Legislative Council, D. Veerabhadra Rao, on Tuesday. Acting promptly, the Governor called up Mr. Paswan and requested him to dispatch six rakes of fertilizers, he said. Mr. Paswan agreed to the suggestion.
