Anantapur posts win
VIJAYAWADA: Anantapur defeated Nellore by four wickets to garner five points in the ACA South Zone u-16 inter-district cricket tournament for A.V. Narasimha Reddy Trophy at Anantapur, according to information reaching here on Thursday.
The scores:
Chittoor 254 and 157 in 54.4 overs (C.R. Tejeswar 68, Vinod five for 66, Siddhartha Reddy three for 21) drew with Kurnool 249 in 64.3 overs (Vikram Surya Teja 94, S. Babu 87, Surya seven for 80) and 27 for no loss in four overs.
Anantapur 194 and 39 for six in 15.3 overs (Ashwin Hebbar three for 14) bt Nellore 86 and 146 in 48.2 overs (Janardhan 72, N. S. Sunil Kumar four for 28, S. Ramesh Kumar three for 53). — Sports Reporter
