Himabindu hits century
VISAKHAPATNAM: S. Himabindu scored a century (112, 11x4) as Visakhapatnam claimed the ACA North Zone under-19 inter-District tournament, beating East Godavari by 289 runs for an all-win record in the round-robin here on Thursday.
Sasirekha picked up six wickets in Vizianagaram’s four-wicket win over Srikakulam.
The scores: Visakhapatnam 349 for six in 50 overs (S. Himabindu 112, Sneha Deepthi 75) bt East Godavari 60 in 16.3 overs (Polamma four wickets for seven runs).
Srikakulam 70 in 19.4 overs (Sasirekha six for 39, Hemavathi three for 30) lost to Vizianagaram 72 for six in 16.5 overs (Chandana five for 19).
