HASSAN: Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa will interact with farmers on the issue of failure of potato crop in the district, during his visit to Hassan on Saturday. Mr. Yeddyurappa will be inaugurating the renovated Eshwara and Veerabhadreshwara temple at Banavase village in Hassan taluk on the occasion. Several Ministers will accompany him. Treasurer of the temple renovation committee B.R. Somappa, who is from Banavase, has been a bodyguard of Mr. Yeddyurappa since 15 years. He had requested the Chief Minister to inaugurate the renovated temple. According to Deputy Commissioner Naveen Raj Singh and Superintendent of Police K.V. Sharatchandra, the Chief Minister will arrive here by a special aircraft at 9.30 a.m. He will offer prayers at Yoganandaswamy temple before going to Banavase village where he will inaugurate the temple and interact with farmers. He would leave for Mangalore from Gorur at 10.45 a.m., they added.
