ComplaintAccording to CRY, a missing complaint was lodged at the Manikpur Police Station, Vasai, on Friday. The case was reported to CRY at midnight, upon which it sought assistance from Mapusa and Panaji town police stations in north Goa. The police, along with the CRG activists, searched buses entering Mapusa and Panaji. The girl was rescued at Mapusa from a Goa-bound bus. The girl was handed over to the Mapusa police on Friday evening. She was later reunited with her family which arrived in Goa, according to Audrey Pinto of CRY.
