Demand to recall J&K Governor

Chandigarh: Punjab Minister and BJP leader Tikshan Sud on Friday demanded immediate recall of the Jammu and Kashmir Governor, N.N. Vohra, accusing him of appeasing Muslims in the State.

In a statement here, Mr. Sud also demanded immediate restoration of 100 acres of land to the Amarnath Shrine Board.

He said the Congress had been so blinded by its policy of appeasement towards Muslims that it was even failing to listen to the Jammu Congress leaders’ demand for sacking Mr. Vohra.
