Two get 10 years’ RI

New Delhi: Two men were on Friday sentenced to 10 years’ rigorous imprisonment by a court here for gangraping a woman at a farm house here in North-west Delhi.

Additional Sessions Judge A K Arya also imposed a fine of Rs 2,000 each on the convicts -- Laltoo, 40, and Vasudev, 50, after holding them guilty of gang rape under Section 376(2)(g) of the IPC.

The court relied upon depositions of 16 prosecution witnesses including that of the victim and her husband, to convict both the accused.
