Pawan Kalyan’s estranged wife withdraws case

Legal Correspondent

HYDERABAD: The criminal revision case filed by Nandini, estranged wife of actor Pawan Kalyan, was withdrawn by her counsel before Justice Dr. G. Yethirajulu of the High Court on Friday.

It may be recalled that Nandini had filed a private complaint in a court at Visahakapatnam against Pawan Kalyan. She alleged that he had deserted her and then married another woman. She wanted him to be punished for bigamy. The police investigated the case and filed a final report before the concerned court at Vishakhapatnam declaring that there was no evidence to prove the crime of bigamy.

Nandini had filed a protest petition before the court and when it was dismissed she filed present revision case before the High Court. On Friday, the advocate appearing for her said that a compromise was being struck and the case being with drawn. The judge accepted the plea and closed the case.
