Chandigarh: Big Music and Big Pictures unfolded yet another sensation in the world of Punjabi cinema on Friday with the music release of the upcoming Punjabi celluloid extravaganza “Mera Pind -- My Home”.

The music premiere of the movie organised here at PVR Cinemas witnessed the lead star cast including cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Siddhu, Punjabi superstar and singing sensation Harbhajan Mann and ace cinematographer and director Manmohan Singh participate among others.

Even as the biggest Punjabi cinema project this year is yet to rock the silver screen some time next month, the musical launch of the movie made for an exhilarating show as a musical delight being thrown open to the public. Cassettes and CDs containing eight exquisite musical numbers from the movie were released. Manmohan Singh said the film’s plot is around Navjot Singh Siddhu, an NRI. - PTI
