Inviting: The newly opened Coffee Shop in Guntur on Friday.

GUNTUR: A new coffee shop, Coffee Nut, was inaugurated on Friday evening by Chairman of the Coffee Board, G.V. Krishna Rau. The setting for the launch of a modern coffee shop was perfect and exotic with a mild drizzle dripping down in the evening.

It belongs to Global Coffee, one of the popular retail coffee outlets in the country, opened the new outlet at R.K. Towers on Arudelpet 4th line.

Speaking on the occasion, the Coffee Board Chairman said that modern coffee shops have become popular in the country for the quality of coffee. Coffee shops provide exotic coffee brewed with the choicest green beans imported from abroad and sipping the choicest coffee is worth the extra money.

He said that contrary to the earlier research that caffeine in the coffee has harmful effects on the body, modern researches have proved the stimulating effects of a good cup of coffee. A cup of coffee could increase performance levels of students, working professionals etc, he said.

He also tried to prove the misconception that coffee is an addictive drink and said that unlike Tobacco or alcohol consumption of coffee depends on one’s appetite. Countries which have a higher coffee consumption levels like, North American countries have been progressing in economic and social spheres as well, he pointed out. Modern coffee shops have great and stimulating ambience and have become popular among youth, he said. Global Coffee Managing Partner Shujayathula Khan was present.
