Easy for Visakhapatnam

VISAKHAPATNAM: Visakhapatnam scored an easy win over Vizianagaram in the first round-robin match of the ACA North Zone women’s inter-District tournament here on Friday.

The match between East Godavari and Srikakulam was washed out.

The third and final day’s play between North Zone and Central Zone in the ACA under-22 inter-zonal tournament at Kakinada on Thursday was washed out.

The tournament resumes on Saturday after a day’s rest.

Teams selected for the District under-14 inter-zone cricket tournament will be displayed on the notice board at the VDCA office here on Saturday. The tournament will be held during the third week of August.
