Nischal hits hundred

Nischal’s unbeaten 102 set up Presidency School’s 124-run win over Baldwin School in a Nazeer Memorial inter-school T20 tournament’s semifinal league match here on Friday.

The scores: Presidency School 176 for no loss in 15 overs (Nischal 102 n.o., Vijay 61 n.o.) bt Baldwin School 52 in 14.2 overs; Miranda HS 91 in 19.4 overs (Dheeraj 41) lost to Presidency (Rt Nagar) 94 for two in 13.1 overs; FAPS 132 for four in 20 overs (Tilak 42, Rohith 41) bt Bethanys HS 107 in 20 overs (Mohith four for 18).

Big win for Bishop Cottons ‘A’

Bishop Cottons ‘A’ defeated FAPS 5-1 in a Tanvi Rao Memorial inter-school girls’ hockey tournament match here on Friday. Neha (2), Ruchita, Mahira and Vaishnavi scored for the victor while Pavitra scored for FAPS.

Other result: St. Euphrasia’s `A’ 4 (Elizabeth 2, Sandra 2) bt SFX ‘A’ 0.
