KOCHI: After losing four consecutive finals against Alappuzha’s Anas Irshad, Mishal Dilawar turned out to be lucky on his home table in the Brahmijam RSC all-Kerala table tennis tournament at the Rajiv Gandhi indoor stadium, Kadavanthra, on Friday evening. Dilawar, a student of Vidyodaya who took up the game just nine months ago, defeated Irshad in straight games for his first mini cadet boys title. In the inter-school team events, which were making their debut here, St. Mary’s, Alappuzha, blanked Don Bosco (Irinjalakuda) 3-0 and won the under-19 boys title. The results (inter-school team championship): Boys: Under-19 final: St. Mary’s, Alappuzha bt Don Bosco, Irinjalakuda 3-0 (Dany B.
