Kamban festival begins

TIRUPATTUR: The annual two-day Kamban Festival organised by Kamban Kazhagam was inaugurated by Tirupattur constituency MP D. Venugopal at Vijaya Saravana Mahal Marriage Hall here on Saturday.

Tirupattur MLA T.K. Raja, Natrampalli MLA N.K.R. Suriya Kumar and Tirupattur Municipality Chairperson Chockammal Tulasinathan were present.

State Bank of India Senior Manager M. Muniraj gave away prizes to the winners of various competitions conducted for school and college students.
