Chitradurga: Deputy Director of the Department of Public Instruction L. Rangappa has called upon science teachers to create scientific temper among students in order to prepare them for the children’s science convention. He was speaking after inaugurating a two-day workshop for science teaches of primary schools and high schools in Chitradurga district for the 16th district-level children’s science convention to be held on November 8. The programme was organised by Tara Mandal, a non-governmental organisation, in association with the department here on Saturday. Mr. Rangappa said that 10 students from the district would be selected to participate in the convention. The teachers should prepare the students for the event, he said. District coordinator of the Karnataka Rajya Vigyan Parishad H.S.T. Swamy spoke.
