KASARAGOD: The Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) is organising a vehicle rally from Kasaragod to Thriuvananthapuram from August 13 to 29 to publicise various welfare projects being implemented by the United Progressive Alliance government and to expose the anti-worker policies being implemented by the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government in the state, the INTUC state president R. Chandrasekharan has said. At a press conference here on Saturday, Mr. Chandrasekharan said that KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala would inaugurate the rally by handing over the flag of the organisation to himself. Mr. Chandrasekharan himself would lead the rally and the state level office bearers of the organisation would participate. — Staff Reporter
