Heritage status for hotel

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Tourism Development Corporation chairman Cherian Philip has said that the government-owned Mascot Hotel will be elevated to the status of a heritage business hotel from August 17 onwards.

He said the government had restored the 90-year-old hotel by preserving and embellishing its heritage structures. – Staff Reporter
