Thiruvananthapuram
Thiruvananthapuram: Noted physicist E.C.G. Sudarsan, known for his theory of ‘tachyons’, particles that travel faster than light, will deliver a talk here on August 13. The function is being organised in connection with the 40th year celebrations of the Kerala Bhasha Institute and the second in the series of talks planned by the Kerala Sangeetha Natak Akademi. Born at Pallam in Kottayam, Dr. Sudarsan won international recognition for his revolutionary theory of tachyons which contradicts Einstein’s Theory of Relativity.Prof. Ranjit Nair, Director, Centre for Philosophy and Fundamental Sciences, New Delhi, will speak on art and science.
