Meet to draft disaster management policy

Thiruvananthapuram: The Subject Committee of the Assembly will meet at Mahatma Gandhi University in Kottayam on August 11 to discuss the draft of the disaster management policy. Revenue Minister K.P. Rajendran, who is the chairman of the committee, said here on Saturday that in addition to the member of the committee, disaster management experts, scientists and officials would also attend the meeting.

The meeting would give final shape to the draft to be placed before the Cabinet for its approval, he added. — Special Correspondent
