All-round show by Aditya

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An all-round performance by Aditya (44 runs and three for 17) enabled Kendriya Vidyala, Pattom, to score a 50-run win over Chinmaya Vidayala in the Jai Hind Trophy inter-school T20 cricket tournament at the Medical College ground here on Saturday.

In other matches shortened by rain, St. Mary’s HSS defeated Manaru Huda HS, Nedumangad, by 29 runs and St. Joseph’s HSS crushed RKD NSS by nine wickets.

The scores: Kendriya Vidyala, Pattom, 124 for three in 15 overs (Aditya 44, Sudheer 37, Vinod two for 18) bt Chinmaya Vidyala 70 for nine in 15 overs (Aditya three for 17, Atul Diamond two for 16).

St. Mary’s HS, Pattom, 109 for five in 12 overs (Sarath 30) bt Manaru Huda HS, Nedumangad, 80 for seven in 12 overs (Renjith two for 12, Kiran two for 12)

RKD NSS, Shasthamangalam 80 for nine in 17 overs (Saly three for 26) lost to St. Joseph’s HSS, Tvm, 81 for one in 12.3 overs (Sanju 53 no).
