Teachers meet Chief Minister

MADURAI: A delegation of teachers from American College met Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi during his recent visit here and urged him to order a CB-CID enquiry into the violent incidents on the college premises on April 12 and 19.

The delegation of faculty members included P.R. Anbudurai, S. Rajkumar Immanuel, M. Rajendra Pandian and K. Navaneethakannan.

Assurance to delegation

According to a press release, the Chief Minister had assured the delegation that appropriate action would be taken in the issue.
