Plea for drinking water

PUDUKOTTAI: The district wing of the Akila India Samathuva Makkal Katchi has urged the Municipal administration to take immediate action to ensure proper supply of drinking water to the residents. In a statement issued here on Saturday, its District Secretary, G. Srinivasan, specifically referred to short supply in a few residential areas including Kamarajapuram and Tiruvappur in the town. He also urged the Railway administration to take steps to introduce additional day-services to and from Pudukottai.
