Ganja seized, one held

CHENNAI: A police special team intercepted B. Roopak Kumar (22) of Bihar, who was moving in a suspicious manner near the Central Railway Station on Saturday. He was carrying 6.5 kg of ganja worth about Rs. 30,000 stuffed in polythene bags.

Kumar confessed to have bought the contraband from an agent of Andhra Pradesh in Chennai. He was produced in a city court and remanded to judicial custody, the police said.
