The Hurricane wins

Pune: The Hurricane ridden by Suraj Narredu won the Club Solaris Turf Club Trophy the main event of Sunday’s races here. The winner is owned by Mr. Shapoor P.Mistry rep. The Manjri Stud Farm Pvt Ltd, M/s. Munchi P. Shroff , Dinsha P. Shroff & K. Dadachanji. The winner is trained by C.D. Katrak.

Due to the incessant rainfall at the Pune race course, races were delayed by 45 minutes and the fifth race of the day the Strengthtostrength Trophy (1,200m) was cancelled due to non conducive underfoot conditions near the 1200m chute.

Dividends of 6th, 7th, 8th races, Jackpot, Super Jackpot and Treble Pools will be declared on Monday due to the technical fault in the Pune Totalizators.
